Description : After a short flight, your plane will land at E.T. Joshua Airport in St Vincent where our tour guide will welcome you. This fantastic safari begins with a visit to Fort Charlotte , the Black Carib Museum and Heritage Hall . Then you will continue for a scenic coastal drive alongside the Atlantic Ocean . The road passes through the Byera Tunnel, which was built to open up Carib lands to settlement. You will cross the spectacular Rabacca River filled with volcanic sand and stones, draining the eastern slopes of the volcano La Soufrière and Mount Brisbane . You will go on by Orange Hill passing through banana and coconut plantations. At the north-western tip of the island are the villages where the Carib settled following the wars. These picturesque villages are still home to a large number of Vincentian of Carib descent. In Sandy Bay , you will be welcome by some Carib Indians who will invite you the time of your visit, to share their culture and traditions. You will learn what is the arrowroot, how it is made and what it is used for. Then, you will reach Owia. A delicious lunch made by the Carib Indians will show you the best of the Carib cuisine. Here, the Atlantic Ocean cascades over lava peaks and ridges into a large bathing pool. It is Owia Salt Pond with its crystalline waters where you'll enjoy a swim with a breathtaking view of the mountains in the background. Return about 4:00 pm to the airport for your flight.
Practical Tips : Casual, cool clothes and outdoor shoes are recommended. Please do not forget to bring along your swimsuit, towel. Outdoor fresh water showers, changing rooms and toilets are available on site. This tour is suitable for everybody. Pregnant women must be aware that some roads are rugged on our way.

► Each passenger over 12 years old must have the amount of 40 EC$ or 15 US $ to be paid for departure tax, directly to the immigration officer at St Vincent airport when leaving the country.
