Description : Making our way to the Mesopotamia Valley , keep your camera ready for a perfect photo opportunity as we drive through small villages, banana and calaloo plantations. The South Coast road offers spectacular ocean view passing up and through the villages of Glen, Calliaqua and Villa, where Fort Duvernette was built about 1800 on a massive rock 195 feet above the sea level. Our guide will point out areas of interest along the way. Then on a scenic tour passing on the heights of the capital, Kingstown , we arrive to the oldest Botanical Garden in the western hemisphere. During the visit, you will admire the natural wonders of St Vincent , a descendant of one of the original breadfruit trees Captain Bligh brought and the rare St Vincent parrots : Amazona Guildingii.
